What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you send us a message through the form, we receive the details you filled in: contact details (name, email, phone), details of your company (name, VAT number, country) if you are a buyer, details of your vineyard if you are a grower, and your message.
We use them only to reply to your request and, if we go on to work together, to organise that work. The legal basis is your consent and the taking of steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).
The message is sent by email to the packing house and is not stored on the website server. To prevent abuse, the server temporarily keeps a count of submissions per IP address, in a form that does not allow the address to be read.
Visit statistics
With your consent we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the website and which pages and buttons they use. Analytics cookies are stored only if you press "Accept".
If you press "Decline", no analytics cookie is stored and Google Analytics receives only signals without cookies and without a visitor identifier. What you write in the contact form is never sent to Google Analytics.
Google map
The map on the Contact page is loaded only when you press "Show map". From that moment Google receives your IP address and technical details of your browser and may store its own cookies.
Technical log files
As with every website, the hosting provider records technical details of each visit (IP address, date and time, page, browser type) for the security and proper operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation).
Who receives the data
- Hostinger: hosting of the website and sending of the form messages.
- Google: the business email account (Gmail), Google Analytics and Google Maps.
Google may process data outside the European Union as well, with the safeguards provided for by the Regulation (EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep form messages for as long as needed to deal with your request and any cooperation that follows, and after that for as long as the law requires. Statistics are kept for the period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and to object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time. For cookies, this is done through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
To exercise your rights, write to us at mintzilisfruit2@gmail.com. We reply within one month.
If you believe the processing infringes the Regulation, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Changes
If the way we process data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
