The first variety of our season: black and seeded, with an elongated berry and crisp flesh.

Seeds: Seeded
Berry shape: Elongated oval
Berry size: 5–8 g
Sugar content: 14–17 °Brix
Flavour and texture: Neutral flavour. Crisp berry with a thin skin.
Bunch: Medium, conical, 400–600 g
Ripening: Very early
Origin: Moldova, the variety Codreanca. A cross of Moldova × Marshalskii.

When it is available

Black Magic table grapes from our packing house in Kavala, Greece: mid July to mid August. The period is indicative and changes from year to year, depending on the weather and the harvest.

EU marketing standard

Regulation (EU) 2023/2429 sets for Black Magic a minimum sugar content of 13 °Brix in the juice and a minimum bunch weight of 75 g in classes Extra and I.
